Beginning of the year is an exciting time. Holiday planners are handed out, film releases are announced, major sporting events draw closer, there is so much happening that it is almost overwhelming. Among all this, however, people often forget to pay attention to something equally, if not more, interesting.

2018 has been a great year for music lovers in and around Manchester. Some of our favorite artists enthralled us with their performances throughout last year but if you were unlucky and missed out, there’s no need to worry! 2019 has plenty in store for music fans. The 1975

24th January

The 1975 have been hard at work on their upcoming album “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships”. The band is coming to Manchester in a bid to promote that new record, before heading on to a North American tour in March. With the date approaching fast, fans can already expect the Manchester Arena to be filled to the brim.

2nd February

The Grammy Award winning band Steely Dan returns to The UK, and the second gig of the UK tour is taking place in the Manchester Arena. To add to the excitement, the band is joined on the tour by Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer Steve Winwood. Fatboy Slim

28th February

The legendary DJ has announced his biggest tour yet in 2019, with 6 different dates. The Manchester Arena will play host to the floor-shaking music of Fatboy Slim at the very end of February.

Twenty One Pilots

5th March

The Blurryface duo Twenty One Pilots are coming to The UK, and have shown their enthusiasm by releasing their new single, “Jumpsuit”, in celebration of the tour. Manchester fans can catch the duo live in action at the Manchester arena on the 5th of March!

George Ezra

16th & 23rd March

Famed for his 2014 hit single “Budapest”, George Ezra was hard at work in 2018, successfully making his album “Wanted On Voyage” the third-best selling album of the year. Showing no signs of slowing down, George has announced the biggest run of live performance dates that he has ever played! The tour features two dates for the Manchester Arena, giving fans a great opportunity to catch this musical genius performing live.

Nicki Minaj & Future

18th March

Nicki Minaj  and The Future will be co-headlining their “Nickihndrxx” tour in a couple of months. The tour starts in London and the duo will make their final appearance at the Manchester Arena.

Panic! At The Disco

30th March

Building hype for their much anticipated album “Pray For The Wicked”, Panic! At The Disco have announced an early 2019 UK tour. They will be playing at the Manchester Arena at the end of March. Shawn Mendes

7th April at the
